Tom Lecy of ThomaSheryl Photography has been involved with photography for the past three decades. Loving it from the first time he was in the darkroom, he learned to develop and print black and white, and decided that photography would somehow always be in his life.

As a graduate of Brooks Instutite of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, with majors in Color technology and Portraiture and a minor of commerical Illustration, his intense love of photography has always given him a commitment to excellence. He's worked with adversisting clients such BBO & O, J. Walter Thompson, and Macy's on the West coast, along with coffee table book and magazine shoots for Los Labs.

He is also educated in the field of graphics. From putting together art work or getting negatives ready for the press ( pre-press ) and or printing the job on the press, to designing and helping customers with their ideas, Tom is always able to assist with any type of project.

He has taught photogaphy at IPFW (an extention of Indiana, Purdue Unversities in Fort Wayne), and partnered with Carlos Hickman and Los Labs several years ago to combine their desire to be the best at what they do, ensuring the job is right for the customer regardless of what it takes.

Using large format, medium format, or 35mm, his educational background, and years of experience, Tom is well-prepared to clearly see what his clients need and deliver on that vision. After an intense day of shooting, there's always getting back to one of his first loves: The black and white darkroom in his home to relax and think of new ideas for the needs of his clients.
